Moments, our lives are full of them, good and bad ones. Moments you wish you could forget and others you wish you could freeze. Ones you regret doing something and others you wish you had done something or something else. Moments you keep replaying in your head cause you just can't get enough of them. Some hurt so badly that nothing physical could ever make you ache as much. The good ones though, if only I could turn back time and re-experience them just once, or maybe twice, more.
Tipsy moments. Blurry mind, messy words.The truth. Glances that last seconds but feel like minutes, hugs you'd rather stay in for an eternity. Conversations so deep and meaningful you almost let go of the real world and everyone around you, you get lost in the other person's story, their mind, their soul and if you're lucky enough, their heart. Truly beautiful people you knew all along but got to meet out of nowhere.
Voices that sound like the sweetest melody in your ears, like a song only you can hear. You know, sometimes struggle can be majestic, it teaches you just how strong you are and how capable of really getting over anything and everything life throws at you. These beautiful people and moments are your treat, they are there to remind you just why it is all worth it, and why you should never give up even when life looks hopeless. Trust me, I've been there, through hell and back.
But damn, that night with S, the other day when S opened up to me about the past. The way S pulls me close to kiss me hello or goodbye. These stupid, cute little things, they keep me going. S could be anyone really, that's just an example. You can find moments like these anytime, anyplace. Or you can create them.
Create the right timing, make the first move. There are specific paths in our lives but it's up to us which one we'll follow, and if that doesn't work, go back and pick a different one while you still got time; take chances and don't try to be so perfect, make big mistakes, huge ones, but be prepared to own up to them, and fix them to grow and glow.
